This is the best thing to protect your kids ds. My kids have the dropsies the case breaks the fall .. -- best thing i ever bought
Bought this for my 6 yr. old daughter, and it has already saved me money! Within a couple weeks of owning her DS, she opened the car door and it came flying out onto the ground! The Nerf cover completely protected it!!! I love this thing and would never have a DS without the armor on to protect it!!! -- Love It
The Nintendo DS Nerf Armor is a true necessity if you have this game system. We saw a friend's child with the Armor on their DS and they mentioned how incredible it was to prevent the system from being broken due to the frequent drops onto the floor. The Armor snaps onto the DS and provides a cushioned protection from any "child accident." I can definitely state that this is a MUST purchase for anyone buying a DS system. I give the DS Armor 5 stars! Taking the DS off to play games like Band Hero is difficult at first but with time it gets much easier. If you can't figure it out just go to [...] and watch the video.

I have bought many of these cases for my Kids DS games and they are the best. My littlest one has dropped his game on Concrete or Tile floors more times than I can count and the case has protected it every time. I would not let them carry the game without one. The only downside is that after much use, the foam tends to start peeling away in places and the kids just can't resist pulling it off piece by piece over time. More of a kid issue than a product issue. I do agree with other reviewers that the quality has gone down from the ones I bought two years ago, but I still keep buying them... As for the reports about it being difficult to remove, I would agree, and would not let the kids remove them because if not careful I could see how it could get damaged. I have found the easiest way to remove them is to start with the DS Closed and from the hinge side. You can separate the joints where the top and bottom connect and then slowly and carefully peel back from there (with DS still closed) so you don't put pressure on the DS hinges. Once you get it started then you can open the DS and pull back the outer edges from the face. It's hard to describe, but works quite well. I definitely would not make a habit out of removing them too often, only when needing to replace. My kids get about 6 months to a year out of them with daily use.
Also, Though not always available, Amazon is the best place to get these. I have seen them in stores like Best Buy, but if they ever have them, the selection is very limited. -- Great Product if you want to protect your DS
We've had this case on my son's DS Lite for almost 3 years. He's dropped it countless times. This is one well used case. We've had not one problem with it at all. It offer superior protection, is easy to play with when it is on including being very comfortable, and looks great on the Nintendo DS Lite Cobalt / Black.

If the case can hold up to a 9 year old with Autism I would say it could hold up to anything. I recommend the case to every parent I see with a young child playing the DS Lite. Folks it does not get any better than this! -- Over 2 1/2 years and STILL AWESOME! Now that's an outstanding case!
